Al-Shabab Attacks Somali Hotel

3/24/19 Somalia (International Christian Concern)- On March 1 the Somali-based terrorist group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for a double bombing and attack of a hotel in Mogadishu, resulting in the death of at least 29 people. There was a second attack via car bomb that went off near the presidential palace, claiming the lives of seven people. The terrorist group also attacked a hotel in Nairobi, Kenya in January that took the lives of 26 people.

These attacks serve as a grim reminder to pray for those Christians who suffer under governments and militant groups that push for the strict ruling under Sharia law. Al-Shabab controls territories throughout the Horn of Africa.
