ICC Supports Christian Mother in Egypt with Livestock

09/29/2019 Washington D.C. (International Christian Concern) – Kamilah is a Christian mother of two living in Egypt. Unfortunately, her husband developed gambling and drug addictions and was forced to convert to Islam to settle his debt. When Kamilah refused to convert their whole family, he abandoned her and eventually died. Kamilah and her children were forced to live off of his pension of $32, which was not enough to support the family.

ICC stepped in to purchase livestock for Kamilah, including a few sheep and goats, to provide a sustainable source of income for her and her two sons. Kamilah is now able to raise the sheep and goats and sell them, so that she can focus on raising her boys as they grow up in the absence of their father, without the added pressure of financial strain.
