GO Movement Responds to Passing of Evangelist Luis Palau

GO Movement Founder Werner Nachtigal released the following statement in response to the passing of Evangelist Luis Palau:

“One of the most influential evangelists is now allowed to see what he has preached his entire life. Eternity with God. I met him over a year ago in the USA while on the set of a TV show. I had a great time with Luis and he was a great role model for many evangelists like myself. His passion for the lost marked his life. Our hope as a movement is to carry the torch Luis Palau lit for us.”

Werner Nachtigal is the founder of GO Movement (Global Outreach) which mobilized 50 million Christians in 2020 to reach over 656 million people worldwide with the saving message of the Gospel. Nachtigal calls believers everywhere to share the Gospel with at least one person. He has visited over 75 countries and led countless crusades, seeing tens of thousands of people come to Christ.

The GO Movement is the global vision to activate the whole Body of Christ – millions of individual believers, churches, and large global ministries – to pray and share the Gospel all over the world in a joint effort of evangelism during the month of May. The movement is active in over 150 nations.
