Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kyiv Moshe Reuven Asman was awarded the Medal of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine on September 29, 2020, for his significant contribution to overcoming the COVID-19 epidemic and helping doctors.
The award was presented by Ukrainian scientist and neurosurgeon of the highest category, Doctor of Medicine, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine Vitaliy Tsymbalyuk, according to Lenta.ua.
In addition to continued assistance to doctors, the International Foundation for the Promotion and Development of Education, Culture and Сharity “Mitzvah”, led by Moshe Reuven Asman, donated UAH 2.5 million to the City Hospital of Uman.
