Reinhard Bonnke held evangelism services in Ukraine

On 5 and 6 of June a conference and an evangelism service were held in Kiev, Ukraine, with the presence of famous evangelists Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda, reports Christian Telegraph. Straight after arrival the preacher and his team took part in a press-conference. Rostislav Radchuk, the minister responsible for organization of the Festival of Faith also took part in the press-conference, during which ministers answered questions about miracles in ministry and personal life.

Festival of Faith opened with a big conference, which was held on 5 of June in the Sports Palace in Kiev. It began with the prayer and a short introduction from Rostislav Radchuk, the international evangelist, member of the organizational committee of arrival of Bonnke to Kiev. Mikhail Panochko, the president of Ukrainian union of Evangelical Christians, also spoke words of welcome. Sophia Jukotanskaya, the pastor of church “Holy of Holies” prayed for the spiritual revival of Ukraine.

Silkfrid Timoshevsky, the director of the European department of the Cfan ministry presented new books written by Reihard Bonnke “Holy Spirit,” “Even Greater,” “Evangelism by fire” and a unique film “Full Flame,” which was filmed in 11 countries and combines art cinematography as well as newsreel shooting of evangelism services and miracles of God. Timoshevsky told about multimillion evangelization services in Africa and showed a video how millions of people on African continent come to Christ.

After that Reinhard Bonnke shared a very simple word of the importance of preaching the Gospel. “Holy Spirit will do nothing until the Gospel is preached. But how can it be preached if there is no one to preach it?” said the evangelist. He asked pastors and other ministers to continue bring the Good News to people. “We don’t have another task or another calling. We have to empty hell and fill heaven,” he said. At the end of his preaching Evangelist Bonnke prayed for youth and blessed them to go and preach the Gospel.

At the end of the conference Daniel Kolenda along with Ukrainian pastors prayed for attendees. There were about 7 000 people present.

In the evening an evangelization part of the Festival of Faith began. After the worship and welcoming words of Ukrainian pastors Reihard Bonnke said a short word and introduced Daniel Kolenda who preached about salvation and prayed for the sick. The most inspiring was the healing of a little girl who got up from the wheelchair.

On the second day of the festival Reinhard Bonnke told the story about a man who accepted Christ just ten minutes before his death. The evangelist spoke about God being ready to stretch His hand to anyone and save no matter how many sins this person committed. At the end of the service the evangelist made an altar call. Daniel Kolenda prayed for the sick.

At a rough estimate about 28 000 people visited evening services of Reinhard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda, about 1650 people accepted Christ and filled special forms “Now you are saved”.
