Bomb found at Times Square: Who did a "good job"?

The bomb was found last Saturday at Times Square, 20 – 25 minutes walk from my home.

Unpleasant experience, and all the people in New York are alerted by this event. The subway announcements, on behalf of the Police Department, are airing every fifteen minutes: “If you see something – say something.”

Early this morning, a young Muslim lady wearing traditional hijab and with a big bag in her hand , got into the train and took a seat right in front of me. She started to take some wires out of her bag. At the moment I began to think that my seminars in Massachusetts next week will be canceled, most likely, in connection with transition of the lecturer to the other world. . . . . . But finally, she pulled out an iPod from her purse.

People in New York, in general, understand that our very open society with such a flow of immigrants can be protected by God only. That, actually, what is happening for these past nine years.

I'm not going to dig into details why He didn't protect us on September 11th, and why He is protecting us now. Perhaps, one of the reasons of terrorist's success, at that time, was an absolute confidence that our army and secret services can 100% guarantee our safety and we didn't look for any Divine protection. May be, I'm wrong, but it reminds me of the situation with Titanic (“This ship is unsinkable, even God Himself can’t sink it!” screamed the newspaper headlines just before the Titanic sailed off on its maiden voyage). When people don't need protection from God, eventually they won't have one. . . . . or, I do not know. I know only, that some attempts after September 11, to attack America have failed without any CIA, FBI or NYPD participation, and thankfully to «successful coincidence of circumstances» for possible victims of act of terrorism and to «extreme bad luck» for terrorists. Some of these attempts were accidentally found out by FBI on early stages. Name it as you want, but I see God's mercy in all these events:

JFK bomb plot was find out on early stage as well as subway bomb plot.

Bomb accidentally didn't blow up on the plane heading for Detroit on Christmas Eve.

Two days ago, the car bomb at Times Square turned out to be an unsuccessful attack.

I was ashamed of the silly politicians comments on this matter.

Obama has thanked police for excellent work. For what kind of work? For the evacuation during two hours after (!) bomb was detonated? Well, yes, it was a good team work, but the fact that the bomb didn't explode was not their merit. I think, this is obvious. It was their fault, that the bomb has appeared at Time Square.

Bloomberg: "We avoided what we could have been a very deadly event".

“How smart we are”, - I would add to his statement. We successfully learned how to avoid acts of terrorism! And this event clearly shows it.

Actually, it doesn't matter what they say, because after every next unsuccessful attack it becomes more and more obvious that only Lord can protect America.

And here is one more ridiculous article on this matter «The savior of New York is named, Time Square is opened again». And we have our hero - Lance Orton who did.... who did....who smelled the smoke from the bomb which was going to explode.
