Last Sunday, International Fellowship Director and Seminary instructor Terry Young had the opportunity speak to at the Moscow Good News Church while Rick and Denise Renner conclude their ministry trip in the U.S, reports Rick Renner Ministries. Terry remarked, "It's always a thrill to stand before our whole church and teach God's Word. Of course, there are always our many seminary students and international church members sitting in the audience as a cheering section. They're so enthusiastic!"
Terry preached on the church's three-fold areas of ministry: the inward, the upward, and the outward. He emphasized Acts 1:8 and the dunamis power available to us as believers. After Terry finished his message, seven people repented and came into the family of God.
That same weekend at the Kiev Good News Church, Terri Young, Terry's wife and the Good News Seminary Director, preached a message from the Word. Terri has been teaching at the Kiev seminary for the past several weeks, but last weekend she had the opportunity to minister to the whole church. After Terri taught from the Word on the Blood Covenant, four people repented and gave their lives to the Lord.
Our Kiev interpreter, pictured here with Terri, is named Pavel. For many years he lived as an orphan on the streets of both Ukraine and Russia. Now he is a family man, serving the Lord in Kiev. Pavel is just another wonderful example of how God's power is changing lives in this region of the world.
