Openings for ministry's first mission trip to El Salvador

When mudslides devastated El Salvador in 2005, Global Aid Network USA responded with humanitarian aid that helped save lives, reports MNN. Specifically, they helped install gravity-based water filters that provided clean drinking water that was vital for daily survival.

Now, GAiN is sending their first volunteer mission team to the region. In a country with a population of 6.9 million, approximately 2.4 million people are living below the poverty line. The mission team will be traveling to some of the poorest places in El Salvador. Working with local missionaries and churches, they will give school supplies to children and provide medicine to remote clinics. Throughout the trip, they will be sharing the Gospel.
