Actor Kirk Cameron, often referred to as a "former teen idol," has announced an outreach to help students be more informed on the subject of creation and evolution, reports Faith & Freedom. To facilitate the effort he has legally reprinted 50,000 copies of Charles Darwin's, "The Origin of Species," which is now "public domain," with an additional 50 pages pointing out the flaws in Darwin's theory and making a strong case for creation, using material from scientists who actually believe God created the universe. Cameron, who accepted Christ personally about 20 years ago while he was starring in the popular TV series, "Growing Pains" says, "We have a situation in our country where young people are entering college with a belief in God and exiting with that faith being stripped and shredded."
