Scholarship for first 1,000 delegates of Call2All New Zealand
The organizers of the forthcoming Call2All New Zealand 2010, have concluded plans to give out scholarship grants to the first 1,000 delegates from the developing world to register for the event, reports Success Kanayo Uchime, special to ASSIST News Service.
Mark Anderson, President of the Global Pastors Network (GPN) and Call2All, has stated this said that the local “Body of Christ” in the Tauranga region of New Zealand has agreed to offer free housing and food for the first 1,000 delegates from developing nations.
According to Anderson, the upcoming event which is also called the “Next Generation Congress” will be held from Tuesday, January 19 through to Friday, January 22, 2010 and he added that they are expecting thousands from around the world to attend.
He stated: “This offer will begin next week as soon as the information is posted on the registration site. At that time the nations involved will be listed. Each delegate who receives this scholarship will still be responsible for their roundtrip airline ticket and securing their visas.
“Instead of the full registration price, they will have a special price of $20 per person. The free housing will be provided through guest homes, churches, and in some cases camping areas.”
He further stated: “Again, be sure to check back early next week to see the posting of all the nations that are involved in this free offering and for the specific information on the registration site at www.call2all.org.”
Mark Anderson recounted that in March of 2007, the Call2All Movement was born and was a dream that the Christians would come together and see the Great Commission fulfilled in our lifetimes adding that the Movement has grown quickly all across the earth.
“In June 2009, the Call2All International Congress was held in Hong Kong, China with 3,000 Christian leaders from more than one hundred countries including mainland China,” he said.
He pointed out that the next phase of this movement is expected to unfold at this Congress in New Zealand and that as a catalytic launch this 3½ day gathering will be focused on the emerging generation with the goal to assemble, mobilize, and empower the next generation in their role in finishing the Great Commission.
As a build-up to the New Zealand Congress, the organizers have scheduled series of follow-up events, starting with a four-day Congress coming up in Kiev, Ukraine, from Tuesday, September 15 to Friday, September 18, 2009. According to them, this event is expected to bring Christian leaders from all spheres of life together in order to synergize efforts that would lead to the completion of the Great Commission.
Further to that, this October 8 to 11, business leaders will meet again in Hong Kong to continue to explore and plan how to work together to complete the same Great Commission.
