Ugandan-born archbishop: Kenya leaders must resolve dispute

Uganda-born Archbishop John Sentamu, the second-highest ranking cleric in the (Anglican) Church of England, has urged Kenya's politicians to find a solution to the crisis that has gripped the country since disputed elections at the end of December, reports Ecumenical News International. "It is not only the talks, but the results which are important. Kenyans do not want the talks to fail," Sentamu said on 11 February after visiting camps of people displaced by the violence that followed disputed presidential election results. More than 1000 people have been killed in the unrest and at least another 300 000 driven from their homes.
