Christian leaders in Nigeria have called for a cessation of ongoing hostilities between militant forces and military authorities in the country's Niger Delta area, as accounts of mounting civilian and military casualties are recorded, reports Ecumenical News International. "The crisis will not stop as long as government troops continue to attack the militant forces as they have done in the last few days," said the national president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, in a recent statement.
