The Women's Ministry Orphanage Outreach, currently overseen by Tanya Butseva, is a compassionate ministry program through which members of the MGNC Women's Ministry reach out to orphan children in dire need of the message of truth, reports Rick Renner Ministries. Tanya and her team of approximately 30 people visit ten orphanages in the Moscow area, going to two different facilities each week. Many of these children have barely survived past abuse and don't understand why their parents left them. As a result, the children have been left confused, lost, and heartbroken, and this team of ministers understands that they desperately need to know the love of God.
Over the past four years, God has used this team to bring light and life into the hearts of these unfortunate children, as well as the people who work in these facilities. As a result of the ministry team's dedication, many hearts have been won for Christ, and these ministers have witnessed extraordinary changes in the demeanors, attitudes, and outlooks of the children and employees. The consistency of the team's visits, coupled with the pervasive atmosphere of love and respect that accompanies them, continues to keep doors open wide for the team members to minister to these children.
Team members take every opportunity to touch, hold, and speak peace over these precious children, releasing their faith for healing of both body and soul. They show each child special attention, blessing each one with a small gift. These sisters in Christ are full of God's love, and the children can sense the peace and joy that is demonstrated through their words and actions.
Miracles have also marked this ministry outreach. One example is a little orphan girl who was diagnosed with a very serious medical condition. Upon examination, it was determined that the two halves of her brain were not connected and that she immediately needed a major surgery. However, after the team laid hands upon her and prayed, the doctors conducted one final exam and saw that the brain wall was miraculously connecting on its own. Now this little girl is rapidly recovering and has been named a miracle by the workers who attend to her.
Prior to the occurrence of the numerous miracles, many of the workers in the orphanages simply saw these children as dysfunctional and felt such concern and worry for people who adopted them, knowing that the adoptive parents would deal with terrible problems throughout their lives. Yet faith has now been born in the hearts of these workers, and they openly confess, "Miracles do happen!" God is moving mightily, and the reality of His hand of mercy and compassion is being experienced within the walls of orphanages where hopelessness and despair once thrived.
