The letter to the ambassador of India in Republic of Belarus
On October, 27 bishop of Association of Churches of the full Gospel in Republic of Belarus Slava Goncharenko sent the letter for the ambassador of India in Republic of Belarus Radzhendra Kumar Tyagi. The letter expresses concern over the situation in Indian state Orrisa where cruel persecutions of Christians continue, reports New Life church press center.
"We call upon official Indian authorities to take appropriate state measures for cessation of persecutions of Christians in India and to secure international treaties observing in the field of human rights for liberty of conscience, freedom of religion, freedom of convictions with the purpose of the rapid situation improvement. And also to institute legal proceedings against those, who stir up religious hostility, create violence and death", – the letter says.
