Media Mir - Spreading the Gospel through television

Media Mir, the television department of Rick Renner Ministries, has been televising God's Word internationally since the early 1990s. In addition to broadcasting their own programs, such as Good News With Rick Renner; Heart to Heart With Denise Renner; and Change Your World, Media Mir also broadcasts programs by internationally renowned ministers, including Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland, and Creflo Dollar, reports Rick Renner Ministries.

Over the course of this year, God has opened up many new avenues for this television ministry. In January 2008, Media Mir began broadcasting Joyce Meyer's Enjoying Everyday Life program in Mongolia, airing it weekly in the Mongolian language. Since many people in this country don't have personal mailboxes, Rick Renner Ministries communicates with partners in Mongolia largely by telephone and through partnerships with local churches. Media Mir reports that the response from Mongolian viewers of Joyce's program has been phenomenal. One of Joyce Meyer's books has already been translated into Mongolian, and another is in progress.

Last year in Russia, Media Mir lost a distribution deal with one of the larger national TV channels, which broadcasts in 18 cities. The team has worked tirelessly to return the television programs to the airwaves in these cities, and now they have contracts in most of the cities where they formerly broadcast. In addition, partner income from Russian and Ukrainian viewers is up more than 60 percent this year - a great testimony to the success of the television outreach.
