A priest became the winner of the Ukrainian "Voice of the Country"
On April 23 the archpriest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) Alexander Klimenko became the winner of the Ukrainian talent show "Voice of the Country" on the 1 + 1 channel. The show results were announced after the viewers vote, Christian Telegraph reports according to the Christian Megaportal invictory.com.
During the selection competition, after his singing, all four chairs of the star coaches turned to him.
"I was afraid that even two people would turn around. I wish only one turned. So it would be a little easier for my pride," confessed then the priest.
Despite the fact that all four coaches wanted to take Alexander's father to his team, he chose as his coach Tina Karol.
Behind the scenes, the priest was supported by his wife and three children. During the participation in the project, the fourth child of Father Alexander was born.
Under the terms of the contest, the winner gets the right to record his own song, its rotation on the radio and a shooting of the clip. Also, he will receive another gift - the keys of a new apartment. Klimenko, after hearing the results of the competition, said that he gave to Ingrete Kostenko, who won the second place in the show, the rotating on the radio and the shooting of the clip, and left the apartment for himself.
Alexander Klimenko serves in a small church in the city of Berezan in the Kyiv region and has been helping people for ten years as a prison priest.
