American Missionary Ministers at Feminine Fire in Michigan
During the summertime, many of the residents of Moscow and Kiev go on vacation. Some visit a "dacha" (a summer cottage), and others return to their hometowns to spend time with their families. Summer is also the time of year when many American missionaries in Russia return to the United States to preach including Bob and Katherine Dickerson, missionaries of the Moscow Good News Church. On July 14, Katherine, who is Denise's assistant in Moscow, visited Grandville, Michigan, to minister at Feminine Fire the Women's Ministry of Resurrection Life Church, reports exclusively for Christian Telegraph Rick Renner Ministries.
Bob and Katherine Dickerson have now lived in Moscow for four years. Katherine leads the Prayer School, an intensive program on applied prayer, and Bob devotes his time to International Ministry. They also lead an English-language home group for English-speaking businesspeople and students.
At the Feminine Fire meeting, Katherine shared some of the principles she teaches to prayer warriors in Moscow. She taught on the power of prayer and on the principle that, through prayer, mercy can triumph over judgment. She spoke of Abraham's example, who interceded with God on behalf of the city of Sodom, beseeching Him to spare the city if He found but ten righteous people within it. Katherine stressed that intercessory prayer is a powerful tool in the hands of believers and that God desires that His Church be fully equipped to minister light and healing.
Following this teaching was a time of powerful ministry, and approximately 50 people came forward for prayer. Three women received the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and many were delivered and set free from oppressive situations and conditions.
Bob and Katherine Dickerson are just two of the many powerfully anointed helpers whom God has sent to do His work in Moscow and Kiev alongside Rick and Denise Renner. Each minister brings his or her unique gifts and talents to this land, and everyone works together to build His Church in the former Soviet Union.
