Karol Ladd speaks about Britney Spears and Motherhood
Karol Ladd, prominent author and active member of Women in Christian Media was recently interviewed on ABC NewNow and network radio stations about Britney Spears and motherhood. Ladd has written the highly acclaimed Positive Woman Series which includes the best selling book Positive Mom, reports ASSIST News Service.

speak at the January meeting of Women in Christian Media. The
January 10 meeting will be held at The Tower Club on the 48th floor of Thanksgiving Tower in downtown Dallas.
Suellen Roberts, president and founder of Women in Christian Media, says Karol offers lasting hope and Biblical truth to women around the world through her positive book series. “We are looking forward to hearing Karol. She is a gifted communicator and dynamic leader,” Roberts said.
Karol Ladd, Author, Television and Radio personality has authored twenty-one books, including the best-selling Silver Angel Award-winning The Power of a Positive Mom, Women of Faith have also selected Karol’s books as part of their venue. As a gifted communicator and dynamic leader, Karol is in demand as a speaker to women’s organizations, church groups and corporate events. The founder and president of Positive Life Principles a national organization which includes the popular monthly Positive Woman Connection Luncheon here in Dallas.
During the meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m., Evelyn Hinds, actor and speaker will give a dramatic portrayal of Corrie ten Boom. Ten Boom survived the Holocaust and later traveled around the world spreading a message of hope and love. Hinds is the founder of Arts Touching Hearts, Inc., a non profit organization committed to expressing the message of God through the arts. For more than twenty years, Hinds has studied the life of ten Boom through her books, tapes and interviews with people who knew Corrie. Her passion is to keep alive the spiritual heritage of the ten Boom family as a sign and inspiration for many.
Women in Christian Media is dedicated to connecting women working in Christian media in purpose and vision. “Since 2002, we have provided a framework for networking, opportunities for professional and personal development and work toward advancing Christian media and the women in it,” Roberts said.
In addition to Dallas, there are Los Angeles, Chicago and Nashville WCM Connections. WCM’s 2008 National Conference is co-located again with National Religious Broadcasters’ Annual Convention in Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel March 6 and 7. “Prayer: The Heartbeat of Revival” is the theme for the convention and Dallas residents Thelma Wells, Edwina Patterson, Benita Arterberry and Donna Skell will be among the featured speakers. Based on response from those who have attended past WCM events, the group is making an impact through enriching the lives of those involved personally and professionally.
