Birthday of the New Life church: «We are one big family»

On June, 15, New Life church celebrated its 16th anniversary, reports New Life church press-center.

Pastor of the New Life church Slava Goncharenko and his wife Irina spoke greeting words.

Irina Goncharenko congratulated all and wished them «to reflect Christ and to be a fragrance for all people, to have a wonderful character and healthy spiritual condition». She pointed out, first of all, that church is the family for her and that she is glad to be there.

Pastor Slava told the story of the New Life church founding. He especially emphasized the fact that despite many hardships and unexpected things that young church had to face God’s blessings still outnumbered them all. The hand of the Lord followed all these young people and His guidance was most precious witness of the rightness of the way they chose.

«Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it». It is great to realize that God is with us. Glory be to Him for all that we have now and all that we became. We are strong in high spirit, God gave us faith and powerful vision. Our church has its own unique face. God gave us joy in the spirit and it is beautiful», said pastor Slava Goncharenko.

In 16 years 10 churches affiliated to New Life were started in different places of Belarus. Pastors and members of these affiliated churches came together to greet Slava Goncharenko and all the church with its birthday. In addition to the greeting speeches they presented reports of the work done in these years. Reports were done in form of video presentations.

Church New Life decided to celebrate its 16th birthday in form of warm family celebration. During the breaks guest were welcomed to the tables where different meals, cooked by the New Life church parishioners, were served. «Radio Newlife» was working, allowing everyone to congratulate their home church with its birthday and say heartfelt words of love to brothers and sisters.

Gifts were presented not only to the New Life church and its pastor Slava Goncharenko who was also celebrating his own birthday on this day. Members of New Life church that work with the children center «Revelation» also presented on Sunday gifts to the children with cerebral spastic infantile paralysis that were invited to the celebration.
