Red Cross & Lutheran HealthCare: Emergency Preparedness Training
On Saturday, March 1, the American Red Cross Greater NY Region and Lutheran HealthCare will team up to provide emergency preparedness training to more than 100 New Yorkers. From 11 a.m. to noon, residents will learn the necessary skills to be prepared before an emergency occurs. As we know all too well, disasters can strike at a moment's notice. That's why being prepared beforehand with the right emergency supplies and a well-conceived plan is so important.
This event is open to the general public. The class will be taught in English and Spanish.
WHEN: March 1, 2014, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
WHERE: Lutheran Medical Center, 150 55th Street (Medical & Dental Staff Auditorium), Brooklyn, NY 11220
NOTE: To register, contact 212-875-2189 or firstname.lastname@example.org and specify language (English or Spanish). The first 100 people to register will receive a free "Emergency Essentials Pak" containing some basic preparedness supplies. View Facebook event at http://ow.ly/tWNzx.
