Hundreds of Ukrainians are praying for New Life church

According to press-service of the organizational committee of «Belarusian Christian Democracy», during the last week Ukrainian Evangelical churches have been praying for Belarus, reports New Life church press-center. Religious freedom in Belarus and situation with the New Life church and pastor Slava Goncharenko were in the centre of attention of the Ukrainian Christian movement.

Bishops of the Ukrainian Protestant denominations who are members of the Ukrainian inter-church Council have adopted an open appeal in support of Belarusian Christians. Bishops of 15 religious unions have signed the open letter where they say: «We are indignant at such actions of Belarusian authorities prosecuting believers only for the fact that they have courage to stand for their rights». This appeal will be sent to number of state instances of Belarus.
