New Jason Bare Single Impacts Radio Today

Popular worship leader/singer/songwriter Jason Bare announces the release of his new radio single, "You Never Change," which is set to impact radio today. The new single follows closely on the heels of Bare's Top 5 radio single, "Have You Heard." Bare co-wrote the new song with former Plus One bandmates Gabe Combs and Nathan Walters, friends with whom Bare has a significant history. Walters also produced Bare's No. 1 hit, "For the First Time," from his recent Christmas EP Have You Heard, reports McCain & Co. Public Relations.

Bare says "You Never Change" was birthed during a pivotal time in his life and ministry, when he was feeling the call to step out of the boat, much like Simon Peter, and leave the safety and security of an established ministry for the uncertain future of an independent artist. And like Peter, Bare says he experienced the panic of fixing his eyes on the waves and the wind.

"Peter began to sink in the middle of the miracle," Bare says. "But God didn't let go of Peter, and I knew that He would never let go of me either. When we first began writing 'You Never Change,' we envisioned it being about one of those walking on water moments. But the song shifted directions several times and finally came back to the place where it all began. He never gave up on me; and because He never gave up on me, my promise to God was that I wouldn't give up on Him."

Combs and Walters produced "You Never Change" for Multitone Musik. Combs lent his talents on the piano as well as both acoustic and electric guitars with Marc Jolicoeur on bass guitar. Walters and Combs shared programming duties, and Walters and Bare provided background vocals. The song was recorded at Multitone Musik Studios in Nashville, and mixed and mastered by Walters.

About Jason Bare:

After spending a lifetime growing up in church as a preacher's kid, attending Lee University and traveling as part of the Lee Singers, Bare has spent the past 14 years leading congregations in praise and worship, most recently at Kingdom Life Ministries in Virginia, while also writing and singing his original music. In December 2010, his nationally-released Christmas song, "For The First Time," hit No. 1. In December 2011, Bare's "Have You Heard," the title track from his Christmas EP of the same name, peaked at No. 5 on the Christian Music Weekly Inspirational chart and No. 16 on Billboard's Soft AC/Inspirational National Airplay chart. During the last few years, he has appeared on television networks including TBN, JCTV and CTN, premiered his first music video for "You Found Me" and toured throughout the United States and South Africa.
