Christian doctors search for God’s miracles around the world
The world renown World Christian Doctors Network (WCDN), a chief office of which is situated in Seoul, South Korea, ministers around the world and searches for cases of healings proved by medicine. Today, this ministry has offices in Europe, Asia, North and Latin America, and Australia. WCDN holds international medical conferences, where doctors present cases of healings received by faith and prayer, as well as documental proof of such miracles.
Dr. Yoon-Seok Chae, President of WCDN, spoke with the Christian Telegraph’s special correspondent about the importance of their ministry and goals for the future.
Head of WCDN said that they work with cases of God’s healings in the Manmin Church in South Korea. “At first, we check to see if the healed person has a medical report. If he has it, we take this person to the hospital that examined him after Pastor Jaerock Lee’s prayer. If we find changes, we note them to medical report. Then we present such cases at the annual prayer conference.”
The doctor noted that they have received a lot of testimonies but create TV programs posted on their webpage or present only those, which are proved by doctors and documents. If journalists desire to check cases of healing, they will be able to receive all proofs.
Dr. Yoon-Seok Chae also said that they search for miracles not only in Manmin Churches but around the world and, because of that, they hold annual conferences in different countries. “We collect information about all cases of healings, though it is very hard to do. For example, Russian doctors don’t do MRIs and it is hard to prove that a miracle has taken place. The situation in India and in the Philippine is similar. Doctors there report to us about cases of healings, but their medical data is very low-level.”
President of WCDN underlined that doctors do not always agree, that it was God who healed, even if they can not find medical explanation of disease’s disappearance. “Because of their pride, it is hard for doctors to recognize miracles,” explained Dr. Yoon-Seok Chae. “Even if testimony doesn’t influence doctors the first time, we continue our communication. One meeting or conversation can influence on doctors or not. But it is only the beginning. We invite Christian doctors and nonbelievers. There are a lot of mission teams that examine people and deliver medicines around the world, but such ministries as WCDN, which testifies about God’s miracles on scientific level, are very few.”
