Dutch pedophilia lobby leader jailed for three years
The head of an infamous pedophile lobby group in the Netherlands has been sentenced to 3 years in prison for possession of child pornography, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
Radio Netherlands Worldwide reports that Ad van den Berg, 67, had been held in custody for six months while police investigated the materials on his computer. Thousands of films and 130,000 photographs of child pornography, among which were 13,000 in which Van den Berg himself featured, were reportedly discovered in a raid on his house in December. He claimed the images were “for scientific research”.
In 2006, Van den Berg registered the Party for Brotherly Love, Freedom and Diversity (NVD) to stand in parliamentary elections. The party billed itself as a champion of children’s rights and was dedicated to legitimizing pedophilia. Van den Berg said that among the group’s goals was lowering the age of consent for sexual activity from 16 to 12 and eventually eliminating it completely.
