Pastors from Sri Lanka and Pakistan visited Manmin Central Church

Pastors from Sri Lanka and Pakistan visited Manmin Central Church from July 28 to August 15 to learn about the ministry of Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee, reports Manmin News. They said, "It was of much benefit to see the power of God manifested by Dr. Lee in person and experience powerful works, signs, and wonders firsthand that we have heard about."

There were three Sri Lankan pastors: Rev. Nishan Cooray of Colombo Manmin Church; Rev. Patrick Lawrence of VICAR, St. Luke's Church; and Rev. Angelo Pinto of Wattala Foursquare Church. There was also the Pakistani pastor, Rev. Dr. Samson Jacob, President of Christ's Commission Church International.

The pastors from Sri Lanka had unsparingly supported the Pastors' Seminars and Miracle Healing Crusades with Pastor Taesik Gil which were held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in April and September of 2010, and May of 2011. They were impressed by the holiness gospel that changed the hearts of souls and the power of God manifested through the handkerchief on which Rev. Dr. Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12).

On August 14, the pastors had time with Dr. Lee. They delivered the hearts of Sri Lankans saying "Many Sri Lankans watched the video presentation entitled 'The Power of God VI'. They hope a Sri Lankan United Crusade will be held with Dr. Jaerock Lee. Many churches have already registered as Manmin's branch churches. The number of the churches that want to have partnership with Manmin has increased." Then, they asked Dr. Lee to pray for souls in Sri Lanka.

They attended Sunday Services, Friday All-night Service, Wednesday Service, Daniel Prayer Meetings, and Men's and Women's Mission Summer Retreat. They paid a visit to the Muan Sweet Water Site as well. They looked around the office of the Editorial Bureau that has helped Dr. Lee to publish his books in multiple languages and spread the holiness gospel through the literary media ministry.

They appeared on the Manmin TV program, 'Christian Today.' They gave their testimonies and said that Manmin's ministry has instilled spiritual power into pastors and believers in Sri Lanka.

Rev. Patrick Lawrence of VICAR, St. Luke's Church is quoted as saying, "Manmin's service, prayer, and praise are all amazing. I felt the existence of the Lord throughout the services, and joy came upon me while praising. I was very touched by Manmin's pastors and members who pray unceasingly."

Rev. Angelo Pinto said, "Manmin is very well-organized and has good teamwork among members. I felt the love of the Lord seeing the members serve us with all their hearts. I took a video of the services, choirs, performances of special praise givers, and the summer retreat. I would like to make use of what I learned here by putting it into practice in my church."

The population of Sri Lanka is about 20 million. More than 75 % of the population is Buddhists and Muslims. The holiness gospel and the power of God have rapidly spread through Manmin News in Tamil and Sinhala and Dr. Lee's books translated in English.

"A New Spiritual Wave Hit Sri Lanka through the Miracle Healing Crusades"

Rev. Nishan Cooray

Rev. Nishan Cooray

I came to know Manmin Central Church through Pastor Joseph Han of Chennai Manmin Church in India and the mission team from Manmin Central Church in 2007. Afterwards, I happened to listen to Dr. Lee's messages and see his overseas ministry and powerful works on my visit to Chennai Manmin Church in 2009. I was so moved and impressed by all that I saw. It has been very helpful for my ministry.

In the meantime, 'The 1st Pastors' Seminar and Miracle Healing Crusade' were held in Colombo, Sri Lanka in April 2010 with Speaker, Pastor Taesik Gil (Daejeon Manmin Church). He talked about 'Why Is Jesus Our Only Savior?' and prayed with the handkerchief of the power. At the very moment, the pastors in attendance knelt down and repented! In the crusade, the mighty works of the Holy Spirit took place as well. Evil spirits went out and many kinds of diseases left.

The 2nd Pastors' Seminar and Miracle Healing Crusade were held in September 2010 in Colombo and Ingiriya of Sri Lanka by request of local pastors. Three hundred pastors and church workers from 77 denominations or missionary organizations attended. Many of them gave glory to God for being healed of their diseases. They have registered their churches as branch or associative churches of Manmin Central Church. I could see them united with one heart.

The 3rd Miracle Healing Crusade was held in Raddolugama Community Hall, Wattala Hendala Provincial, Ramada Hotel Colombo, and Horana Town Hall in May 2011. The fiery works of the Holy Spirit took place and many Muslims and Buddhists accepted the Lord and converted to Christianity.

God bestowed His great grace upon my life. My wife collapsed with a brain hemorrhage, so she got an operation to remove clotted blood. But her doctor told me that the chance of full recovery was less than 10% and that she might fall into a coma or be paralyzed from waist down for the rest of her life. I sent her picture to Dr. Lee to receive his prayer transcending space and time twice. Then, my wife rapidly recovered. She was discharged from the hospital and now she enjoys good health.

I give all thanks and glory to the Lord who let me know the ministry of Manmin.
