Christian orthodox designer introduced new collection

A Christian orthodox designer in Russia introduced her new spring-summer 2008 collection, “12 holidays,” in Moscow on February 20, Christian Telegraph reports. Designer Tatiana Malisheva says that her motto is that the orthodox woman should wear clothes she wouldn’t be ashamed to go to church in. She says, “First of all the clothes should be modest and agree with the sex, age and position of the woman.”

Tatiana tried to include all the newest fashion trends and directions in creating her new collection. The important difference is that her collection doesn’t have any short skirts, low-necked dresses or thin fabrics. Tatiana’s favorite designer is Coco Chanel, whose influence can be seen in some of the details in her new collection. Tatiana says, “This is not a collection of special clothes for a few select women, it is a combination of modern trends and orthodox directions in clothes for all Christian women.”
