Kay Warren held a seminar for women in Kiev, Ukraine

Kay Warren, the wife of prominent pastor Rick Warren, visited Kiev, Ukraine. At the invitation of Anatoliy Kalujniy, pastor of the New Life Church in Kiev, she hosted a special seminar for women, Christian Telegraph reports.

As one of the pastors at Saddleback Community Church in California, USA, Kay Warren is also an executive director of the Caring Community ministry that works with HIV-positive people and the author of the book Dangerous Surrender. She combines these roles with that of wife of the pastor of one of the biggest churches in the US and international ministry leader, Rick Warren.

“People often ask me and Kay what the reason of our life is. I usually answer this: In simple words, life is training for eternity,” says Rick Warren. “We were created to live eternally and God wants us to be with Him in heaven. One day my heart will stop beating. It will be the end of my life here on earth. But it will be the beginning of my eternal life with God… Life is a chapter of problems. You are either having problems now or have just come out of problems or are getting ready to have another problem. The reason for this is that God is more interested in your character than in your comfort.”

The seminar for women in Kiev was held on the upcoming Ukrainian National Women’s Day.
