Kiev Good News Church celebrated its 1st Anniversary

Saturday, March 15, marked the one year anniversary of the Kiev Good News Church, reports Rick Renner Ministries. Over 2,500 people attended the celebration, only 60 of whom were first-time visitors. The church celebrated the event with a powerful worship service, at the conclusion of which new worship CD "Every Day" was presented.

The Moscow pastoral team and worship team traveled to Kiev to participate in the celebration. Pastor Rick Renner honored the leaders of the Kiev church for their tireless work and dedication in starting this new church, and the Moscow leaders for their planning, support, and direction. Planting a church is no small undertaking, but this work has gone very smoothly and produced great fruit in its first year alone.

Following Pastor Rick's remarks was the presentation of an award from InVictory and the Christian Telegraph (see article below). Then a cake was served to everyone in attendance. It was a great day to reflect on what God has done in Kiev, and to see a glimpse of what God has in store for this young and vibrant church. The individual ministries of the Kiev church, including Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry, Women's Ministry and Golden Age Seniors Ministry are all growing strong and new members are joining the church every week.
