Korean revival: Jaerock Lee’s wife about miracles in her marriage

Bok Nim Lee, the wife of pastor Jaerock Lee and the leader of prayer ministry in one of the mega churches of South Korea, Manmin, told correspondent of the Christian Megaportal invictory.org about miracles in her marriage. She also mentioned that Manmin church is building a big prayer centre outside of Seoul. Currently every Friday thousands of Manmin church members come to Prayer Service where Mrs. Lee leads them in prayer.

What are the most important miracles have you seen in your life and ministry?

It’s a very easy question for me. My husband suffered from a lot of diseases for seven years. He was like a department of disease. He couldn’t walk, he couldn’t eat. Because of God’s power that came to his life now he is doing all kinds of different ministries. It is the most impressive miracle in my whole life. The second important miracle I would like to share with you happened in my family. When the senior pastor opened the church three of my daughters got poisoned because of gas. They almost died, they were unconscious, but because of senior pastor’s prayer, they came back to their lives in an instance. That’s the second miracle in my life. Also you saw the pictures – an old lady with a hard burn from boiling water – it was also a great miracle, I saw it myself. She had terrible scars but now her skin is very smooth and clean. I cannot say which miracle is the best, but I cannot stop testifying, I can do it till next morning.

What are main principles of successful marriage?

First of all you have to love each other, and keep the love. We kept our marriage because we loved each other, even though we were poor, we didn’t have healthy bodies, but we kept our marriage life till this day. I cannot say that I was happy at that time because my husband was suffering from diseases. But from the moment of his healing I could truly live. I believed there was the Kingdom of Heaven and hell. There is God the Father. I just exactly followed the will of God and the word of God. I love Him all the time. He never forced our daughters but he taught them how to love Him. He prayed and just showed them an example and they just followed. Because their father and mother love God so much, they love their parents and they know how we live. They became pastors and they help senior pastor a lot. Senior pastor, their father, never forced them to be pastors, but they decided to be servants of God by themselves and dedicated their whole lives to the Lord. They knew that this way they will please God, please their father, so they themselves chose this way.

Members of Manmin church love them so much. Not because they are pastor’s daughters but because they are servants of God and because they are an example for the church members. I am so thankful to God, who blessed them to grow older very well and now they are very humbled and hardworking servants of God. Even though pastor Soo Jin Lee is my daughter she actually teaches me, even though I am her mother. She serves senior pastor a lot and sometimes she teaches me something spiritual.
