The Moscow Good News Church has completed newest worship album
The Moscow Good News Church has completed our newest Russian-language worship album! Called "Every Day," the album is a collection of 19 praise and worship songs. Written by members of the Moscow Good News Church and recorded in our own recording studio, this album is a significant contribution to modern Christian music in Russia, reports Rick Renner Ministries.
Paul Renner, director of the Every Day project, remarked, "The album is really meant to help people worship at home. It's unique musically because of its synthesis of contemporary, classical, and ambient styles, and it's unique as a worship album as well. Most of the songs were born out of our all- night prayer sessions and have four or more authors. The lyrics are more scriptural and poetic, meant to help people enter into God's presence."
To celebrate the release of this new album, the Moscow Good News Church held a Sunday worship service where the church's musicians played most of the album's songs. Almost 100 musicians and vocalists participated in this worship concert. The church's usual worship band was augmented by additional orchestral and folk instruments, the church choir, and other guest musicians from the Kiev Good News Church. As one musician remarked, "It didn't feel as if we were leading the auditorium in worship, but rather that the songs themselves became the expression of the church."
"Every Day" is now available in Moscow and throughout Russia through our Mir Distribution media outlet. On March 16 at the celebration of the 1st Anniversary of the Kiev Good News Church, the new album will be released in Ukraine as well.
