Pastor Jae Rock Lee
Pastor Jae Rock Lee from S. Korea told about the revival

Senior pastor of Manmin church Jae Rock Lee told in his interview to InVictory News reporters about revival in South Korea. After Koreans suffered from Korean War and severe poverty, eagerly revival was needed and prosperity in spirit and economy. Through fervent prayer and huge scale of Christian gathering they were blessed with a few world largest churches and economic growth. However according to his words although Korea has been experiencing revival it seems to be stagnant and even decreasing gradually at the time.

“Up until now, we have been experiencing revival by the power of the Holy Spirit in South Korea,” says Rev. Jae Rock Lee, “But those pastors who had manifested the power of God passed away one by one and the revival seems to be stagnant and even it is decreasing gradually. On the other hand, Buddhism and Roman Catholic churches have increased in numbers. According to statistics, there are about seventy eight thousand Protestant churches in Korea but they are diminishing now. Generally speaking, young people are going into the world now and old people are found in the church. However, you can see a lot of young people and students in Manmin church because they are always witnessing and experiencing the power of God. They know very clearly that they will not get affected by any disease or illness when they live by the Word of God. For example, the members of Manmin church are protected even in car accident. If a person gets into an accident and the car is just crashed, the person is protected, alive and well because he or she keeps the word of God and lives by it in everyday life.”

Senior pastor of Manmin church also testified that he hasn’t taken any medicine for thirty seven years since he accepted Jesus Christ.

“As for me, it’s been thirty seven years since I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour,” Dr. Lee continues, “I have never taken any medicine or been to hospital since that time. It’s all the same with my wife and my daughters. Because we love God and live by His Word, we are protected just as written in the Bible. So if you just believe what is written in the Bible and practice it, you can be protected!”

Though Jae Rock Lee regrets about the fact that many people in Korea begin to get cold in prayer he is full of optimism and has great plans to change the situation by preaching the Gospel of holiness.

“Regrettably people in Korea begin to get cold in prayer losing the fullness of the Holy Spirit,” says the pastor, “Now I am praying to actively minister in Korea from this year. I’ve been busy with International ministry to preach the Gospel travelling different parts of the world. This year, I am preparing myself to preach the Gospel of holiness in Christian community in Korea and I believe, if I start ministering, there will be some change in the situation. Lots of servants of God and pastors in Korea have been waiting for me and asking me to minister in Christian community. Since I completed the three- year-ministry in Israel last year, it is time for me to start the ministry in Korea.”
