The Swedish Pentecostal Movement is present throughout the country in some 450 local churches. In addition to this, the movement is also reaching out through media and drug rehabilitation programs etc. The Swedish Pentecostal Movement is very active in worldwide missionary work.
The conference will be held at the Filadelfia Church in Stockholm. The weekend following the Pentecostal World Conference will be the Centennial Celebration for the church, since it was established in the year of 1910. The Filadelfia Church has lately seen an increasing growth with numerous new people coming to faith in Jesus Christ.
”We can see God moving in new ways in our country. Sweden is one of the most secularized countries in the world. We need the encouragement that a Pentecostal World Conference could yield with all of it's testimonies about the works of God throughout the world. We also believe in strengthening the international network. We need your prayers to reach Sweden with the Gospel,” it is said in the press release about the conference.
