Kyrgyzstan is on the threshold of war, urgent prayers needed

Kyrgyzstan is on the threshold of civil war, reports Christian Telegraph. As The Beam of Hope mission reports, Christians in the country need urgent prayers. “There are horrible things going on here. Whole south of the country is under the fire of war. The situation is out of control. Hundreds of people have been already killed, thousands have been wounded and the slaughter still continues,” say representatives of the mission.

“There are many Christians in villages who are in danger now. Please pray that the Lord would keep them safe and help stop this fratricidal war. ”

Leaders of Kyrgyzstan Republic are trying to enter into negotiations but the situation is still out of control.

Live journal of Christian network ru_protestant reported that what’s going on in Kyrgyzstan is nothing else than ethnic cleansing. “Whole districts of Uzbek residents are burnt to ashes, whole families are slaughtered – women, children, there are piles of corpses on the streets, no one helps those who are wounded. Groups of young men of Kyrgyz nationality under the influence of alcohol or drugs are running around the city with weapons in their hands, killing and burning everything that’s on their way.”

“They would tie people up to cars and dismember them. There are no humanitarian organizations. There was an official command to open fire against initiators of the unrest but no one carried out the command. Last night the military base with weapons, helicopters, armored vehicles was invaded. People cannot get to the source of food and water, there is a great threat of famine. There are reports about humanitarian aid but it is like a drop in the bucket.”
